Our Goal
Phillips Foods and Seafood Restaurants is a family-owned business steeped in tradition
and with a deep respect for the environment and for the people we work with. Today,
four generations after AE Phillips started his crab-production facility in 1914
on Hoopers Island, Maryland, the family still derives its livelihood from the water.
Because it experienced first-hand the decline of resources in the Chesapeake Bay,
Phillips is acutely aware of the necessity to protect our natural resources.
Here at Phillips, we are committed to providing a safe and consistent supply of
quality seafood for our foodservice, retail and restaurant customers. We support
responsible environmental stewardship and have taken a leadership role to ensure
the long-term health of the natural resources on which we depend. We recognize too
that our global business depends on people, and place high importance on investing
in the people with whom we work, and the communities in which we operate.
